First, Eat All the Lawyers, by Torie Bosch is an article that talks
about the current zombie craze. She refers to the show The Walking Dead as an
example, which is one of my favorite shows so I can relate to the article.
Bosch explains how the white collar employees would not survive in a zombie apocalypse.
They lack hands on skills needed to survive. She explains how blue collar
employees would be the survivors if this apocalypse were to occur due to their
skills in auto maintenance, farming, plumbing, and electrical work. Bosch takes
the article for a turn when she explains that the zombie apocalypse obsession
represents America's falling economy. I didn't understand this analysis at all.
To me it was very unclear; I wish she would have explained this more. I do
agree however, that blue collar workers would be better survivors due to their
skills. Overall, I felt this was an interesting article but irrelevant.
